Let Your Light Shine

May I say it is the most amazing thing to see that light flicker within someone. To see the Spirit touch someone without them even knowing it is absolutely AMAZING! I completely understand why people would willingly give up 18 months to 2 years of his/her life to share what he/she knows. All the door slams and let downs would be worth planting that seed in just one person and taking care of it to watch it grow. This last week or so, has made me realize that when we are old and gray Chris and I will be serving a mission - I just feel like it's calling to me.

Now the question is: how do you show someone the difference between what you make them feel, and what the Spirit is actually helping them feel?

First Blog Post EVER!!!

I am unsure - it probably has to do with all this talk of blogs from other people - that I have decided that the Brown family needs a blog now.

Here's a little synopsis of what is going on with us as of today:

• Chris has 6 classes left at SCC and he will official have his Fire Protection Associates Degree. Yay!!!
• No kids yet, and no we are not currently pregnant for any of you wondering.
• We are living in Ashland.
• I have decided to write a book and I plan to turn it into Deseret Book when I am finished.
• We are both working at the daycare currently.
• Chris is on Ashland's volunteer fire department and will probably be on the rescue squad soon.
• We have started doing photography as a side job/hobby. (K & C Photography)
• I just got called to be a Relief Society teacher and Chris is the Elders Quorum teacher. Ironically enough we will be teaching the same weeks, the same lesson. Studying together should be fun!
• And I also started doing preschool at the daycare.

We have been super busy, and will probably continue to be busy through the next few years.

On this blog you will probably see updates about the Brown family of course, stories from daycare and preschool, probably some work from our photography, updates on my book, the AMAZING lessons from church, and who knows what else. This will all be very interesting!
